Tour Outline

Please find below a rough schedule outlining the intended tour schedule. However, keep in mind that this may change due to unexpected situations or bad weather.

Day 1

• Upon arrival in Alice Springs, we shall collect you and proceed towards our accommodation.

• Our first excursion involves capturing picturesque images of the sunset at Glen Helen Gorge.

• Followed by a tranquil evening by the fireside.
Day 2

• Today, our plan is to rise early and journey towards Ormiston Gorge to witness the beauty of sunrise. After this memorable experience, we will return to our accommodation for breakfast.

• Later, we’ll embark on a road trip to explore the Finke River and Redbank Gorge.

• Our day will conclude with a sunset photoshoot at Mount Sonder.
Day 3

• Our day starts with a scenic drive to Ellery Creek, to capture its enchanting waterhole. You’ll have the remarkable opportunity to capture the stunning reflections through your lens.

• Returning for breakfast, we’ll then set off on an expedition to Serpertine Gorge. Hopefully we can capture the vibrant bird life that inhabits its surroundings.

• In the evening, we’ll conclude our day at a clandestine location, witnessing the mesmerising sunset.
Day 4

• On day four, our destination is Ormiston, in hopes to capture the magnificent sunrise.

• However, instead of the usual route, we will embark on a brief stroll up to the lookout point. From this vantage point, we will be able to witness the grandeur of the West McDonnell ranges.

• Following breakfast, we will venture towards Simpsons Gap, an extraordinary terrain nestled within the West MacDonnell ranges.

• As we retrace our steps, we will once again seize the opportunity to capture the perfect shots for sunset.

• Our day ends with our final dinner at the hotel.
Day 5

• On our final day we’ll rise early to capture the breathtaking Sunrise at a picturesque vantage point overlooking Mount Sonder.

• Additionally, you could descend towards the Finke River and embark on a captivating exploration.

• We’ll then return to our hotel for breakfast.

• Afterwards we’ll head to Alice to ensure that everyone is safely transported to the airport for their respective flights home.
