Tour Outline

Please find below a rough schedule outlining the intended tour schedule. However, keep in mind that this may change due to unexpected situations or bad weather.
  • Day 1

    • Upon your arrival at Keflavik Airport, a taxi driver will warmly welcome you and transport you to your lodging in Reykjavik.

    • A 2-hour walking tour of downtown Reykjavik is an excellent method for becoming familiar with the city.

    • Alternatively, you can opt to pause your journey to Reykjavik and explore the renowned Blue Lagoon. Take time to photograph the tranquil geothermal waters before your Iceland photography tour begins.

    • Should you choose this option, your driver-guide will collect you from the airport and escort you to the Blue Lagoon. Later continuing the drive to Reykjavik.
  • Day 2

    Day two will host many landscape photography opportunities. Staring the day at Ytri Tunga's golden sands, where it's highly likely that you will spot some seals relaxing on the shore.

    Throughout the day we’ll be stopping at:

    • Rauðfeldsgjá ravine
    • Sönghellir singing cave
    • Arnarstapi basalt columns
    • Lóndrangar rock spires
    • Djupalonssandur and Dritvík pebbled beaches
    • Saxhólsbjarg Cliff and Skálasnagaviti Lighthouse
    • Öndverðarnes
    • Ingjaldshólskirkja Church
    • Hellisandur
    • Kirkjufell
  • Day 3

    • We’ll start day three by exploring the exquisite Deildartunguhver hot springs located in Reykholtsdalur.

    • Our next destinations comprise visiting Reykholt and the charming, little hot spring recognized as Snorralaug.

    • Moving ahead, we are going to cross the Hvalfjörður, offering numerous intriguing viewpoints.

    • We’ll then head to Þingvellir National Park, famous for its exceptional geological formations, natural landscape, and noteworthy history.

    • Following that, we are off to the Haukadalur geothermal area to witness Geysir.

    • We will then visit the awe-inspiring Gullfoss waterfall.

    • During our return journey, we will halt at Skálholt, one of Iceland's most significant locations.

    • Lastly, we will visit the Kerið implosion crater for our final photography shoot of the day.
  • Day 4

    • Day four commences at the LAVA exhibit, an homage to the explosive volcanic activity and frequent earthquakes of Iceland.

    • Following that, we'll venture to Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, where you'll have the rare opportunity to walk right behind the roaring cascade. Adjacent to it rests Gljufrabui Waterfall, where you can journey through a canyon and nearly touch the splendid cascade.

    • After departing Seljalandsfoss, we'll proceed to the remarkable Skogafoss.

    • From there, we'll embark to Dyrholaey and Kirkjufjara, awe-inspiring nature havens that offer a magnificent bird's eye perspective of the South Coast.

    • Later, we'll move onto Reynisfjara's Black Beach, where you'll have an incredible panorama of the Reynisdrangar cliffs.

    • Our final destinations are the small village of Vík and our overnight lodgings in the vicinity of Kirkjubaejarklaustur.
  • Day 5

    • On our return to Reykjavík today, we will commence our journey by passing through the remarkable Eldhraun Lava Field.

    • We will then make a stop at Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon to capture more magnificent photos.

    • Next, we will pay a visit to the breathtaking Kvernufoss Waterfall, which is located towards the east of the famous Skógafoss Waterfall. Possessing a sheer drop of 30 meters that a perfect opportunity to take awe-inspiring photographs.

    • Following our visit to Kvernufoss, we will embark on an effortless hike to Seljavallalaug- the oldest swimming pool in Iceland. Here, if you wish, you can plunge into the clement water.

    • Eventually, we will make our way back to Reykjavík after concluding our visit to the old pool.

    It is worth noting that on this day, we have the option to take a day tour either to Thorsmork or Laki Craters. This day provides an idyllic opportunity to engage in specific activities.
  • Day 6

    • Upon your scheduled departure date, transport will be arranged to take you to Keflavík International Airport. This ensures timeliness for your impending flight.

    • Departure from your hotel is slated for 3 hours ahead of your flight time.

    Note: If you have yet to experience the Blue Lagoon, there may exist an opportunity to make a stop en-route to the airport.
