Tour Outline

Please find below a rough schedule outlining the intended tour schedule. However, keep in mind that this may change due to unexpected situations or bad weather.

Day 1

• Our Iceland photo tour commences with a rendezvous at Keflavík airport.

• From there we shall proceed to the Snaefellsness peninsula for a two-night stay.

• Our first photo opportunity arises in the sunset at Kirkjufellsfoss, one of the most celebrated locations of the excursion.

• In the evenings, provided the weather conditions remain favourable, we’ll spend our time waiting for the northern lights here.
Day 2

• Day two starts with an early rise to capture the sunrise at the picturesque Kirkjufellsfoss.

• We’ll then proceed towards Gatklettur, where we will make several stops along the way, including the black church of Búðakirkja.

• Upon arriving at Gatklettur, we will then capture the sunset from the stunning cliffs.

• Our day will end with another night's rest at the Grundarfjörður hotel.

• We’ll watch out for the northern lights in this arctic paradise.
Day 3

• Following breakfast, we shall depart from our lodgings and embark upon a two-night journey towards the northern region.

• Our expedition will involve capturing images of the stunning vistas that adorn Iceland's terrain, including the magnificent Kolugljúfur Canyon.

• As nightfall approaches, we’ll reach the remarkable Hvítserkur landmark and, as per the forecast.

• Here we’ll wait in our accommodation, adjacent to the Rhino for a glimpse of the mesmerising northern lights.
Day 4

• Our plan is to head out to Hvítserkur again for sunrise season and capture the day’s flights through the lens.

• After that, we will halt at Reykjafoss while proceeding towards the East.

• We’ll check-in at our hotel for the night, and then move on to Aldeyjarfoss for our sunset photography session.

• During the night, we will keep an eye out for the northern lights. If lucky enough to capture early, we can also pay a visit to the nearest Goðafoss.

• Here we can capture more brilliant scenes of the northern lights.
Day 5

• We’ll start the day with another early wake to seize the sunrise at Goðafoss.

• Afterwards our group will head towards the east of Iceland. Journeying to the stunning waterfalls of Selfoss and Dettifoss.

• We’ll conclude the day's adventure by basking in the sunset at Stuðlagil Canyon. Hoping for the northern lights to appear before we retire for the night at our hotel.
Day 6

• Our plan for today involves exploring the extraordinary vistas on the eastern flank of Iceland. Then venturing towards the southern domain - Vestrahorn.

• Along our way to Höfn, we will take a few breaks to seize pictures of waterfalls such as Folaldafoss. Eventually reaching our lodge at the doorway of Stockness.

• Later, we will embark on a journey to investigate the Stokksnes region, well-known for its black sand beach. Here, we’ll capture the serene Vestrahorn and the adjacent sand dunes through our lenses.

• We won't let any moment go to waste and therefore will be shooting the illustrious northern lights during the nighttime.
Day 7

• Our day will begin with a sunrise session at Vestrahorn.

• During the day, we will embark on a journey to uncover the magnificent landscapes of the Jökulsárlón Glacier.

• As the sun sets, we will relish the final moments of daylight at Diamond beach.

• To wrap up our day's adventure, we will have dinner on location.

• If the weather forecast for the Northern lights is promising, we will wait before proceeding to our hotel.
Day 8

• Day eight begins with a sunrise photo session at Diamond Beach.

• Following this, we shall proceed towards the West and make a pit stop at Vik. Depending on the sea tides, we’ll either capture the picturesque Reynisfjara Beach at sunset or head towards the Dyrhólaey peninsula.

• We’ll also be waiting for the northern lights throughout the night at these stunning locations.

• If the sky is clear, we may make a detour to Skógafoss waterfall for some magical shots of the auroras.

• Our night shall be spent photographing these magnificent phenomena across different locations.
Day 9

• Prior to proceeding towards Reykjavik, we shall visit Skógafoss.

• Our agenda entails capturing another remarkable location - Seljalandsfoss waterfall - by means of a sunset photoshoot.

• In the evening, we shall retire to our lodging in Reykjavik to rest.
Day 10

• Our journey concludes as we head towards Keflavík airport and bid farewell to each other.
