Tour Outline

Please find below a rough schedule outlining the intended tour schedule. However, keep in mind that this may change due to unexpected situations or bad weather.
  • Day 1

    • Upon arrival, we shall meet in Haneda Airport, Tokyo.

    • We will then make our way to our lodgings in Nikko.

    • After dinner, we will discuss our tour itinerary and prepare for the upcoming days.
  • Day 2

    • Day two will be spent at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Shrines and Temples of Nikko.

    • We will spend the whole day photographing the Rinno-Ji Buddhist Temple, The Toshogu and Futarasan-Jinja Shinto Shrines. Adorned with vivid hues, the structures exhibit exquisite lacquer and ornamentation. Elaborately carved, the pillars and various elements boast an array of intricate designs.

    • After the days shoot, we will have dinner, before retiring to our hotel.
  • Day 3

    • We will rise early and journey towards the highlands of Nikko. Here we will capture stunning photos of the Kegon Waterfalls.

    • In the late morning, we will journey towards Mt. Fuji and spend the rest of the day photographing this iconic landscape.

    • Ending the day with a sunset shoot.
  • Day 4

    • On the second day of shooting Mt. Fuji, we will start at the base, capturing the Fuji Five Lakes. Consisting of Yamanaka, Kawaguchi, Saiko, Shoji and Motosu.

    • We will head back to our accommodation in the evening for dinner.
  • Day 5

    • The last day of photographing Mt. Fuji will be spent at The Sea of Trees.

    • We will depart in the late evening, heading back to our accommodation where we’ll dine and relax for the night.
  • Day 6

    • Day six will be another early rise as we set off on a two-hour drive to Hakone.
    • At Amazaske Chaya, we will enjoy a leisurely teatime after wandering along the cedar avenue.
    • We will then visit Lake Ashi for an insightful landscape photography workshop.
  • Day 7

    • On day two in Hokone we’ll visit the beautiful healing hot springs that offer an abundance of magical photo opportunities.
    • We will then visit the Hongu Sengen-Taisa Grand Shrine and Wood Mosaic Art Work Artisans.
    • After a busy day of photography, we will retire to our accommodation for a beautiful farewell dinner.
    • The rest of the evening is yours to explore our surroundings before we depart the next day.
  • Day 8

    • Our final day has arrived.
    • You will be dropped off at Haneda Airport, where you will take your respected flights home.
