Tour Outline

Please find below a rough schedule outlining the intended tour schedule. However, keep in mind that this may change due to unexpected situations or bad weather.
  • Day 1

    • Please arrive at the Lakes meeting point no later than 9:00 am, where your guide will be waiting to greet you. We will then embark on our group journey to the Lake District National Park to start our photo expedition.

    • During the day, you’ll discover camera settings and composition techniques specifically tailored for landscape photography.
  • Day 2

    • Rise with the sun on day two, as we seek to capture the breath-taking sunrise over Lake Ullswater. This is widely regarded as the most popular photography spot in the district, with good reason!

    • Taking weather at the lake district and lighting into consideration, we’ll travel to Hallin Fell, shooting the incredible Cumbrian valleys. Alternatively, we’ll head towards the charming village of Glenridding for picturesque photos of Wall Holm and Cherry Holm.

    • Finishing the day exploring the enchanting Aira Force waterfall, surrounded by spectacular woodlands.
  • Day 3

    • Day three will also require an early start, as we head to Crow Park for our second sunrise shoot of the trip. Taking in the awe-inspiring Derwent Water views.

    • Later, we will journey towards Isthmus Bay which offers abundant photo opportunities.
  • Day 4

    • The fourth day will be spent practising your long exposure skills, in the beautiful scenery of Lake Buttermere.

    • We'll end the day with a tranquil sunset shoot.
  • Day 5

    • Day five will be another early wake, to capture the sunrise over the river Brathay.

    • In the afternoon we’ll head to the Great Langdale Valley. You’ll explore spots like Blea Tarn and Side Pike, that offer truly incredible landscape photo opportunities.
  • Day 6

    • On day six, we start early for a session before heading to Lowther Castle. This grand Gothic castle is surrounded by lush woods, offering captivating photo opportunities.

    • We'll spend the day exploring the gardens, hoping to spot red squirrels and deer in this ancient setting.
  • Day 7

    • Unfortunately, here is where we say goodbye. You have the option to sleep in, luxuriate in the beauty of the Lakes, and then make your way home.

    • Alternatively, why not elongate your trip and continue exploring? There are plenty of things to do in lake district! You can Pre-book a boat tour, or even visit the local zoo.

    • However, if you must leave due to other commitments, this day is optional!
